Collin Veijer had to sit out the Barcelona GP due to a foot injury

Saturday ended with bad news for Collin Veijer, as the Dutchman suffered fissures in three metatarsals in his left foot in his Q2 high side. In Misano next week, the Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP rider will undergo a medical check-up on Thursday and if he gets the green light, he will try to make up for the missed race.

Collin Veijer, P10 - 1'42.234 (+0.596): Collin Veijer: "My condition is improving. I am feeling quite okay now and I'm in no pain, only when I'm moving, I feel like there's something wrong. Overall, I think it's getting better but I am very angry at myself for missing the race because of a mistake I made in Q2. I'm frustrated to have had to watch the race from the box. I try to be ready before Misano, otherwise, I'll come back for India but I will for sure try to get fit for Misano. I'll fly back tomorrow and try to heal and recover as quickly as possible."
